The first Welisa DocGen release as a managed package under the welisa namespace. What it contains:

Document generation

  • Word, HTML (Google Docs, Notion, any HTML source), Canvas (in-browser designer, Beta), fillable PDF, PowerPoint (alpha) and Excel (alpha) templates; PDF, DOCX, PPTX and XLSX output.
  • The Visual Designer for HTML templates: WYSIWYG or source, merge-tag pills, spreadsheet-level table editing, images from the Asset Library, watermarks, instant PDF preview, Copy AI Prompt.
  • The Canvas designer: blocks positioned to the inch, tables that grow, element linking (blocks that follow a table), named blocks, charts with live preview, import and export of HTML.
  • The full merge-tag set: field merges with date, currency (incl. multi-currency auto-detection and conversion), number, percent, checkbox and picklist-label formatting; loops with container auto-expansion, {RowNumber} and {#GroupBy}; {#IF} with AND/OR/NOT; aggregates; images, shared assets, barcodes and QR codes; nine chart styles rendered natively; rich text; watermarks; {Today}, {Now}, {RunningUser.X}; Classic approval history.
  • Generation from the record page (Save to Record, Download, Save & Download), document packets, PDF merge, the one-click button with the Buttons builder, Document Title Format naming, the runner on any page with record search.
  • Bulk generation with filters, saved queries, sort order, duplex padding, automatic recovery of oversized records, and job history.
  • Automatic handling of large datasets (2,000–50,000+ child rows) through the same Generate button.
  • Flow actions for single, bulk and auto-routed generation; the Apex API; Apex data providers; JSON data from Flows.
  • The runner's interface in ten languages, following each user's Salesforce language.

E-signatures

  • Built-in signing: guided field-to-field signing on the real PDF, drawn or typed, document packets, parallel / sequential / single signing order, e-mail PIN verification (configurable per send, template and org), in-person signing, link expiration and multiple reminders, resend and revoke, decline flow with a Hide Decline switch, signer form fields with writeback, an immutable audit trail, a Certificate of Completion and a public verify page.
  • Editable, brandable e-mail templates for all seven signature e-mails, and Brands — reusable sender identities (address, logo, colour, company name, footer) a template points at.
  • The Welisa signature seam: the Send for Signature quick action, the Welisa: Send for Signature Flow action, Welisa Envelopes tracking every send whatever the provider, and provider routing by configuration — built-in by default, DocuSign for clients who own it.

Administration and licensing

  • The Welisa Licence tab — no keys, nothing to configure in the org.
  • Permission sets by role: Welisa Admin, Welisa User, Welisa Signing, Welisa Guest Signature, Welisa Button Manager, Welisa Quick Action.
  • A post-install script that seeds the e-mail templates and schedules the licence check on every install and upgrade.
